"Sometimes you gotta be a beauty and a beast," - Nicki Minaj
Meet Jannie Loudette Alipo-on, the beauty crowned as 2017 Miss Tourism International held in Malaysia last Thursday, December 7, 2017. Jannie is the 4th Filipina who won the title crowned by outgoing Miss Tourism International 2016, Ariel Pearse from New Zealand. She is also a graduate of De La Salle College of St. Benilde with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management. She used to be a part of the 24K girls in the Kapamilya show DealorNoDeal. Prior to Miss tourism International 2017, she has also won as Miss Casino Filipino 2014 4th runner up; Miss Philippines Earth 2013 (Top 10 Finalist); and 1st runner up at Megamodel ProModel.
Now let's talk about how she maintains her fitness.
Jannie is a fitness enthusiast and maintains her body through boxing and working out. She's a beast at it as shown in the video below. Based on her workout she really likes high intensity which is very exhausting for an average person. She also has great boxing skills and she knows her footwork. Also that speed bag may seem easy but that requires a lot of hardwork. You must have very fast arms in order to achieve what she has done. In the video you can see her doing push ups. It was not just a few push ups but a lot and she seems to be doing it with ease and that jumping rope skill is amazing! If you noticed she did double unders meaning she is doing twice the rope cycle in just one jump. I've tried that myself. It looks easy, yes, but it's very difficult to master! Trust me. You should try it too to see for yourself. This lady is really a beast and not your average beauty queen
Aside from being a beast that she is, Jannie also loves travelling, going to the beach and being herself. She is an adventurous, charming and confident woman who is able to interact with a lot of people with graciousness and humility. She is an inspiration to a lot of people especially the youth because of her good heart.
And those, I believe are one of the reasons why she was crowned as Miss Tourism International 2017 aside from her winning answer:
“How could you promote visit Malaysia in 2020 to the people of the Philippines?”
“First I will post the beautiful places that I’ve been to like the Malacca and Langkawi which I’ve already started. Second, I will post stories about warm hospitality that the Malaysian poeple have shown me. Third, I will prouldly promote that Malaysia is culturally diverse where everyone with different nationalities get along, live together with peace and harmony. Inviting Filipinos to visit your beautiful country will be my way of thanking you for such an unforgettable experience. Thank you,” she said.
