When it comes to an event, foods are one of the sources of enjoyment of the visitors.

It is nearly as important of the event itself.

And as a host, you are the one responsible for working with the catering professionals to plan the right foods to achieve a successful event where everybody enjoys.

So here are the tips on choosing foods for your event.

Less Fried Foods

We all know that fried foods are not good for our health, but the main reason for this one is that it is served by piece, which means, it can only suffice to the exact number of guests. Perhaps that’s the exact thing you really want to happen, but the thing is, there’s always excess guests in every event especially in weddings and birthdays.

Pasta is one of the best foods in terms of having a big event, because pasta and white rice are pretty much the same in terms of nutritional contents specially carbs. To wrap it up pasta is the best substitute for rice if it can’t suffice the number of your visitors.

Dietary Needs

This one rarely happens but still one of the most important things to consider. Dietary needs are not just for the people who said is “on a diet”, but also for the people who has; Allergies, Intolerance, Religious Requirements and Vegetarians. So better ask your guest what they can and can’t eat before ordering foods, so that they can enjoy the event without depriving themselves for the foods they can’t eat.

Alternative Menus

This one is pretty obvious. Don’t stick to one type of meat or type of food. And to make it better you can order combined foods like chicken pork adobo or pork beef steak with broccoli. Just to make sure that you’re going to cover more kinds of foodstuff in one type of dish.

Now that you have the idea on choosing the right food for your event, you’re sure to have a successful event that your guest will enjoy.
